Carpe Diem
So one day i was browsing through photos of San Francisco and i realized something. I do NOT have a picture of myself with the Golden Gate Bridge. Like… what!? But of course. Im the “photographer”, the one who takes photos not the one who should be in photos. D’uhhhh.
But that’s not the point. The point is: While I was busy capturing moments, i have actually missed experiencing and enjoying the real moments and actual events. All that for photos that need validation – been there, done that. This is indeed, a misery.

I mean, of course you can take photos but you don’t have to snap all the time. 20 shots of the same sunset, different angles? After all, pictures wont do it justice and in the end you will only choose one to show off anyway. Capture the moment with your mind instead and you will remember it forever.
To my dearest family and friends that took those pictures of me, i sincerely apologize for not being in the moment with you all… I guess, we need another holiday? I still want a photo with Golden Gate Bridge and Karl The Fog.
Here’s something i found on Google.
Charles Bukowski once said, “The days run away like wild horses over the hills”.
Now lets put all that smart phones and cameras away, seize the moment and call it magic!
