Ode To dreams
//Dance Me To The End Of Love – The Civil Wars
This place and space seem vaguely familiar.
Feels like I’m caught in an inescapable infinite time loop for the longest time. It is no longer clear whether I’m in a dream or is this, more than a dream? Every day you wake up and you repeat the same shit thing all over again. Reality bites.
It’s still a pandemic. We’re still sitting on a sharp edge of uncertainty. Running in circles, that it gets overwhelming sometimes. But you gotta do what you gotta do, for now, find ways of escapism or some coping mechanism.
It feels like there is no clear direction on how things are going to be. You are either here or you are back in the past. What is there to look forward to?
Some memories though, are worth to ponder. Did I make the right decisions? The what ifs. The continuous don’t knows. But as we grow, we dream, we learn and we evolve, there will be mistakes along the way but those are the portals of discovery.
While we continue with our redirection, reorientation ‘to go the way your blood beats’, it is important to note that time is running out. The clock doesn’t stop. A minute pass equals to a minute less you have in this world. We are our own timekeeping devices. Wish I could own time, too. But this like the rest of the things, are temporary.
And don’t let inevitable, improbable, perishable things to stay in your heart. Like love. Because some can stay there forever and be comfortable in it like its their home. Its ours. Handle it with care.
Anyway. Let’s keep it simple.
It is important to know that the journey is far more important than the destination, the process is far more important than the outcome.
And in reality, being present is far more important than to dream.
What’s meant to be. Be. What’s meant to leave. Leave.
I’ll stop holding on to illusions.
